Recent News from our Commercial IT Team

We have seen a definite improvement in the IT Finance market.  Clients have more long term projects however we are seeing a candidate shortage.  Over the last couple of month we have noticed that candidates are getting multiple offers and clients are having to move quickly to get the right talent, this news has been support by the government raising their growth figures to 1.8% for 2010. The unemployment rate is also down to 3.8% making it very hard to find good talent in the current market.  The only worrying cloud in the horizon is the uncertainty of the eurozone but the general economic data remain robust thanks to a continuing export recovery and sustained private consumer demand.
