Stamford Consultants Pharma Team @ DIA Euromeeting 2010
Stamford Pharma was participating in the DIA 22nd Annual EuroMeeting taking place in Monaco on March 8th to March 10th 2010.
The Drug Information Association’s Annual EuroMeeting is attracting over 3,000 professionals from over 50 countries.
It brings together professionals from the biopharmaceutical industry, contract service organizations, academic research centres, regulatory agencies and health ministries.
The team was impressed by the number of attendees to their stand and enjoyed that fantastic networking opportunity with such interesting contacts.
Stamford hopes that all the guests enjoyed the visit to the Stamford Pharma booth and the level of service they have received.
Stamford Consultants is looking forward to the next edition 2011.

Stamford Consultants raised 910 CHF for Wissen Heilt!
The Stamford Life Sciences team came together from Germany, France and Switzerland to sponsor a very popular refreshment corner at the Basel Rare Disease day offering home made cakes and cookies, the proceeds of which went to support Rare Disease research.
And therefore we are very happy to announce that we could raise a total amount of 910 CHF to donate to Wissen Heilt which let to a total fundraise of over 30,000 CHF going to Rare Disease research.
There are more than 7,000 rare diseases and for those affected, there is a significant impact on their lives and those of their families.
Contributing to initiatives such as the annual International Rare Disease Day, held in 37 countries shows Stamford’s commitment and contribution to increasing the visibility and supporting research into finding causes and treatments in this important area of clinical research. The Basel Rare Disease Day was a very well organized event with a number of prominent guest speakers from local Pharmaceutical companies and Research facilities.

Stamford Consultants beim Tag der Seltenen Krankheiten
Wissenheilt
Im Zuge der Kooperation war Stamford Consultants mit einem Stand am 28.Februar 2010 beim Tag der Seltenen Krankheiten in der Universität Basel.
Unter den vielen anderen Ständen und Attraktionen, verkaufte Stamford Kaffee und Kuchen für den guten Zweck. Das ganze Team von Stamford bereitete selbstgebackene Kuchen vor, die dann über den ganzen Tag vom Stamford Team verkauft wurde. Ziel war es natürlich soviel Spendengelder für die weitere Forschung von seltenen Krankheiten zu sammeln. Der genaue Betrag steht bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt noch nicht fest, wird aber noch bekanntgegeben.
Mehrere hundert Gäste waren im Kollegienhaus der Uni Basel um den Tag der Seltenen Krankheiten zu unterstützen, sich darüber zu informieren oder sich mit Betroffenen auszutauschen. Auch im Zuge von verschiedenen Symposien konnte man sich über die Thematik “seltene Krankheiten” informieren. Mehr als 30.000.000 Betroffene allein in Europa, mehr als 7.000 verschiedene seltene Krankheiten sind nur wenige Fakten die zeigen, welch Ausmass die seltenen Krankheiten haben. Gleichzeitig wurde aber deutlich, von welch grosser Bedeutung eine grössere Aufmerksamkeit wäre, und welch Bedeutung ein verstärkter Fokus der Pharmafirmen in die Forschung von seltenen Krankheiten für die Betroffenen hätte.
Ein Anfang ist mit dem gestrigen Event in Basel gemacht worden und wir freuen uns auf das nächste Event.

Stamford Pharma beim Zurich Life Science Day
Eine Brücke zwischen Wissenschaft und Industrie schlagen
Am Dienstag fand an der Uni Zürich der Life Science Day 2010 statt. Studierende hatten dabei die Gelegenheit, sich bezüglich Karriere und Unternehmertum zu informieren und mit Fachexperten auszutauschen.
Im Rahmen des Life Science Day wurde auch der Expertenrat von Stamford Pharma zu Rate gezogen. Zaki Sellam stellte die Bedeutung Personal Branding für eine Karriere in Life Science vor.
Über 100 interessierte Zuhörer lauschten dem interessanten Vortrag des Regional Head Pharma von Stamford Consultants.
Dabei ging es in erster Linie nicht nur um das Thema Online Präsenz, sondern auch um Themen wie „Warum sind manche scheinbar „erfolgreicher“ wie andere“ oder „Warum bekommen manche immer die Lorbeeren“.

Stamford Consultants 2010 Kick Off Party in Basel @ LesGarecons
Having finished the year with a 2009 End of Year Party in Zurich we hosted our yearly Kick Off Apero for our Basel based clients, candidates and contractors. For the 2010 Event we decided to have the Party at the well located Lounge LesGarecons right at Badischer Bahnhof in Basel.
The Stamford team loves the opportunity to spend time with all our customers outside of the daily business. It was a very enjoyable evening filled with good company and conversation.
More than 70 Guests accepted our invitation and enjoyed the evening. Asian Live Cooking, great drinks, nice music and a very nice location made this event very special.
Thanks to all our guests, the whole Stamford Team and the LesGarecons Crew for making our party a very special event.

Stamford Consultants End of Year Party 2009
Roughly 200 Guests attended the Stamford „flight” at Runway34 to celebrate the Stamford Consultants End of Year Party 2009.
It was a very special location that Stamford chose to celebrate its 2009 End of Year Party. Runway34 is close to the Zurich Airport and looks like an old hangar and has an original Ilushin 14 inside the building.
Even though the location was a little further out of town about 200 guests found their way to the party. All of them found a spectacular venue with a very special atmosphere. The team of Runway34 served great food with a variety of styles presented underneath the airplane.
The mixture of Live Music and a great DJ presenting all types of music styles added to the atmosphere and helped its way to become a great party.
Typical for the Stamford team they prepared a special surprise by running a raffle for their guests where the guests could win various happenings with Stamford Team members – including a Fondue Night or a Dinner with the Stamford CEO.
Thanks to all our guests, the whole Stamford Team and the Runway34 Crew for making our party a very special event.
